Overview

Pharmacology

Eucalyptol is a natural cyclic ether and monoterpenoid that controls airway mucus hypersecretion through anti-inflammatory cytokine inhibition. Menthol provides a cooling sensation via stimulation of cooling receptors and gives local anesthetic action. Methyl Salicylate penetrates and reaches high concentrations in pain regions, inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis and relieving pain. Thymol is used as a dental varnish to prevent tooth decay. Sodium Fluoride enhances tooth enamel strength through formation of fluorapatite, helping prevent cavities.

Dosage and Administration

Use twice daily after brushing teeth with toothpaste. Vigorously swish 10 ml of rinse between the teeth for 1 minute and then spit out. Do not swallow the rinse. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after rinsing. Supervise children as necessary until they are capable of using without supervision. Use in children should be according to the consultation of a dentist or physician.
