COMPOSITION
TPC TABLET : Each film-coated tablet contains : Thiamine Mononitrate (Vit. B1) BP 100 mg Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vit. B6) BP200 mg Cyanocobalamin (Vit. B12) BP 200 mcg.

DESCRIPTION
TPC is a combination of vitamin B1 (thiamine), B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) and B12 (cyanocobalamin). The vitamins B1, B6 and
B12 are indispensable for a normal course of the nervous metabolism. TPC supports the regeneration of nerve fibers and myelin sheath by activation of the metabolism and the natural repair mechanism. The combination of these three vitamins shows better efficacy than that of the individual vitamin.
INDICATIONS
TPC is indicated where a deficiency of the relevant vitamins exists. It is indicated in the treatment of polyneuropathy of any origin such as diabetic, alcoholic or toxic neuropathies, neuritis, cervical syndrome, shoulder-arm syndrome, sciatica, peripheral neuralgia, facial neuralgia, lumbago, intercostal neuralgia, myalgia, spinal pain and Herpes Zoster.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Tablets : 1 to 3 tablets daily or as directed by the physician.
Injection : Ampoules are preferably injected intramuscularly (deep intragluteal). In severe cases, 1 ampoule daily until the acute symptoms subside. For milder cases and follow up therapy, 2 to 3 ampoules per week.
SIDE EFFECTS
Generally well tolerated. In rare cases, few allergic reactions may be seen.
USE IN PREGNANCY & LACTATION
Sufficient data is not available in this respect.
PRECAUTIONS
Cyanocobalamin should not be given before a diagnosis has been fully established because of the possibility of masking symptoms of subacute degeneration of the spinal cord. Cyanocobalamin is not a suitable form of vitamin B12 for the treatment of optic neuropathies associated with raised plasma concentrations of cyanocobalamin.
