Overview

Alice Tablet contains Ivermectin, manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals PLC. Ivermectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent used in the treatment of strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, scabies, and other parasitic infestations.

Dosage and Administration

Dose is calculated based on body weight, typically 150-200 mcg/kg as a single oral dose, taken on an empty stomach with water. For scabies, a second dose may be given after 7-14 days. Follow physician's advice for the exact regimen.

Interaction

Concomitant use with other CNS depressants such as alcohol or benzodiazepines may potentiate sedative effects; caution advised with warfarin as Ivermectin may enhance its effect.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ivermectin or any component of the formulation.

Side Effects

Dizziness, nausea, diarrhoea, and pruritus. Rarely, hypotension and other allergic reactions may occur.
