Bicozin-I Syrup contains Iron Polymaltose Complex combined with Vitamin B Complex and Zinc, manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals PLC. Dosage and Administration

Children: 5 ml once or twice daily, or as advised by the physician. Adults: 10 ml once or twice daily, preferably after meals to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.

Interaction

Iron may reduce the absorption of tetracyclines and quinolone antibiotics if taken together; allow at least a 2-hour interval between doses. Concurrent antacid use may reduce iron absorption.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components and in conditions of iron overload such as haemochromatosis.
