Frequently Asked Questions

Why should Ceftiben capsules be taken on an empty stomach?
Food significantly reduces the peak plasma concentration of ceftibuten; taking it at least 2 hours after meals maximises absorption.

Can one Ceftiben 400 mg capsule replace two 200 mg doses?
Yes — the recommended adult dose is a single 400 mg capsule once daily, which achieves the required therapeutic blood levels throughout the day.
