Emolent 25gm cream

Overview

Emolent 15%+6% Cream contains White Soft Paraffin 15% and Liquid Paraffin 6%, manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals PLC. The cream formulation offers a richer emollient than the lotion, providing enhanced occlusive moisture retention. It is suitable for moderately dry to very dry skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis (dry plaques), ichthyosis, and post-wash dry skin. The higher paraffin concentration provides longer-lasting hydration and is particularly useful for thicker, drier skin areas.

Dosage and Administration

Adults and children: apply to affected or dry skin areas 2–3 times daily or as needed. Particularly beneficial after bathing. Can be used as a soap substitute.
