Momento PLUS combines desloratadine (selective H1 antagonist) with pseudoephedrine sulfate (sympathomimetic decongestant). Desloratadine relieves sneezing, itching, and runny nose, while pseudoephedrine reduces nasal congestion by vasoconstriction of nasal mucosal vessels.

Indications

  • Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis with nasal congestion
  • Symptomatic relief of sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal congestion, pruritus, and lacrimation

Dosage & Administration

Adults and children ≥12 years: 1 tablet (Desloratadine 2.5mg/Pseudoephedrine 120mg) once or twice daily. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Take with food. Avoid in hypertension, CAD, hyperthyroidism.

Contraindications & Precautions

  • Hypersensitivity to desloratadine, loratadine, or pseudoephedrine
  • Hypertension, coronary artery disease, hyperthyroidism
  • MAO inhibitor use within 14 days
  • Severe renal impairment
  • Angle-closure glaucoma

Side Effects

Common: insomnia, headache, dry mouth, palpitations. Pseudoephedrine effects: increased blood pressure, tachycardia, anxiety.

Drug Interactions

MAO inhibitors: hypertensive crisis — contraindicated. Antihypertensives: reduced efficacy. Other sympathomimetics: additive cardiovascular effects.

Storage

Store below 30°C, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
