DESCRIPTION

NEOTRAX (Levamisole) is an effective anthelmintic agent and appears to act by paralysing susceptible worms which are subsequently eliminated from the intestine.

COMPOSITION

Tablet : Each tablet contains Levamisole Hydrochloride BP equivalent to 40 mg Levamisole.

Syrup : Each 5 ml syrup contains Levamisole Hydrochloride BP equiva-lent to 40 mg Levamisole.

INDICATIONS

Ascariasis

Hookworm infections

Effective against Enterobius vermi-cularis, Trichuris trichiura, nStrongyloide stercoralis and Trichostrongylus colubriformis etc.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

As a single dose after meal : 1-4 years : 1 tablet or 1 teaspoonful. 5-15 years : 2 tablets or 2 teaspoonful. 16 years or above : 3 tablets or 3 teaspoonful.

OR AS DIRECTED BY THE PHYSICIAN.

SIDE EFFECTS

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness and headache.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

It is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to Levamisole. Levamisole should not be given during pregnancy.

Tablet : Each box contains 20 × 10 tablets in strips.

Syrup : Bottle contain 30 ml syrup
