Rubalon eye drops

Rubalon^® Eye Drop is the preparation of Fluorometholone 0.1%. Fluorometholone is a topically active corticosteroid. It’s thought to be act by inhibiting phospholipase A2 protein. Steroids are often necessary for controlling inflammatory and allergic ocular disorders. But, these are not without risk as they can induce glaucoma, cataracts and potentiate infection, especially in longer treatment periods.Soft steroid such as Fluorometholone 0.1% eye drop is a safer alternative to treat ocular inflammatory conditions with less likelihood of inducing glaucoma or cataract.

Rubalon^® eye drop is indicated for the treatment of corticosteroid responsive inflammation of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea and anterior segment of the globe.
