Product Description: This product is a disposable plastic strip for determining blood glucose levels.

Indications for Use: This test can be used to measure glucose levels in puppies or adult dogs that may be high or low in glucose due to disease or infection.

Test Procedures: Remove the desired number of strips and replace the cap immediately. Do not handle the pad area. The test should be performed immediately after drawing the blood sample. Proper timing is critical for this technique.

1. Apply 1 large drop of blood to pad.

2. Wait 30 seconds.

3. Using light pressure, wipe the blood off with a tissue.

4. Wait an additional 30 seconds.

5. Compare color of pad with color chart to obtain a glucose value.

Packaging: This product comes in vials of 25 strips.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature below 86°F. Avoid excessive humidity, temperature extremes, and direct sunlight.

Diagnostic Value: Moderate.

Risks to Patient: Virtually none, provided the blood is collected under sterile conditions by a trained professional.
