Indications
- Relief of mild to moderate pain: headache, toothache, backache
- Reduction of fever in cold and influenza
- Post-operative pain management
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 500–1000mg every 4–6h. Max 4000mg/24h.
Contraindications & Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to paracetamol
- Severe hepatic impairment
- Do not exceed recommended dose
Side Effects
Well tolerated. Hepatotoxicity with overdose.
Drug Interactions
Warfarin: monitor INR. Alcohol: hepatotoxic risk.
