Taking other medicines
Ambroxol should not be taken simultaneously with antitussives(e.g: Codeine) because phlegm, which has been liquefied by Ambroxol might not be expectorated.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Fetal toxicity and teratogenic study has shown no harmful effect. However it is advised not to use it in pregnancy, especially during the first trimester. Safety during lactation has not been established yet.

3. How to take Mucosol^®?
Always use Mucosol^® exactly as your doctor has told you. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

How much to take?
Syrup:

• 2-5 years old: 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoonful), 2-3 times a day
• 5-10 years old: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful), 2-3 times a day
• 10 years old and adults: 10 ml (2 teaspoonful), 3 times a day

Pediatric drops:

• 0-6 months old: 0.5 ml, 2 times a day
• 6-12 months old: 1 ml, 2 times a day
• 1-2 years old: 1.25 ml, 2 times a day

If you forget to take Mucosol^®
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

If you stop taking Mucosol^®
Do not stop taking this medicine without talking to your doctor. You should not stop taking Mucosol^® just because you feel better. If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, Mucosol^® can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Side effects of Mucosol^® includes allergic responses such as skin eruption, urticaria or angioneurotic edema, epigastric pain, stomach overfill feeling.

5. How to store Mucosol^® Plus?
Store in dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
