DESCRIPTION

Nutrum Eye is an antioxidant capsule containing Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Lutein, Copper and Zinc.

COMPOSITION

Each Capsule contains Vitamin C 60 mg, Vitamin E 30 mg, Lutein 6 mg, Copper 2 mg and Zinc 15 mg.

PHARMACOLOGY

Vitamin C & Vitamin E work as antioxidants and they have free radicals scavenging property. Lutein protects macula from oxidative

stress and light damage. Copper involves in the growth, skeletal integrity and development of nervous system. Zinc works as a coenzyme of numerous enzymes.

INDICATION

Nutrum Eye capsules is indicated for Age Related Eye Disease

(ARED) e.g. Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD) & cataract.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

1 capsule daily

Or as directied by the physician.

SIDE EFFECT

Large dose of Vitamin C & Vitamin E cause diarrhoea and other gastrointestinal disturbances. Fatigue and weakness have also been reported.

CONTRAINDICATION

This product is contraindicated to the patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the drug.

PRECAUTIONS

This drug should be given with caution to patients with hyperoxaluria.

PREGNANCY & LACTATION

It is recommended to consult with the physician before using this drug in pregnancy and lactation.

DRUG INTERACTION

This product should be given carefully in patients taking oral anticoagulants or estrogen. Vitamin E has found to antagonize the effects of Vitamin K leading to an increase in blood clotting time in these patients.
