Composition

One gram Happymix-5 Sachet containsVitamin A (Vitamin A Acetate) USP 0.30 mg

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) USP 30.00 mg

Folic Acid USP 0.16 mg

Iron (as Ferrous Fumarate) USP 12.50 mg

Zinc (as Zinc Gluconate) USP 5.00 mg

Description

Happymix-5 is an essential way for treating the deficiency of vitamins and anemia (Iron deficiency anemia). It is a tasteless & odorless powder which contains iron with another 5 nutritional components which can be used by mixing with baby meal. Happymix-5 is used for children over 6 months and up to 5 years of age by proper mixing with regular meal every day. For treating anemia of children and ensuring the demands of vitamins one sachet have to mixed with daily meal.

How to Feed:

After 6 months of age one packet of one gram Happymix-5 should me mixed with regular meal of children. Happymix-5 should be fed by properly mixing with daily grain foods (Rice, Hotchpotch, and Semolina). Happymix-5 can never be mixed with food having extreme temperature ( 600

 C) or more liquid foods. Happymix-5 mixed food have to feed a child within 30 minutes.

How long will be feed Happymix-5 ?

1) It should not be fed more than one sachet in a day.

2) 60 sachets of Happymix-5 should be fed within 120 days for treating anemia.

3) 60 sachets of Happymix-5 have to feed for each consecutive six months up to 5 years of age.

4) In case of missed dose of Happymix-5 (for 1-2 days), it is to be started from next day.

Contraindication

As per instruction of WHO, clinically critical children who are suffering from severe malnutrition and the inmate children of hospital should not be treated with supplementary iron drops or syrup in the first sever days of treatment. Thereafter, Happymix-5 may be mixed with their food.

Caution

Happymix-5 should be added to the regular food of children. More than one packet should not be fed in a day.

Children below six months and more than 5 years old cannot be fed. Other Iron syrup should not be used during feeding of Happymix-5 Malaria antidote may be used with Happymix-5 for those who are suffering from malaria.

Side-Effects

Any side-effect of Happymix-5 is not known.
