Composition

Each ml contains Polyethylene Glycol 400 USP 4 mg & Propylene Glycol BP 3 mg. Preservative : Benzalkonium Chloride Solution BP 0.01%

Description

Opcol contains Polyethylene Glycol 400 USP (0.4%) & Propylene Glycol BP (0.3%) which are eye lubricants. Eye lubricants keep the eye moist, help to protect the eye from injury and infection and decrease symptoms of dry eye such as burning, irritation and feeling as if something is in the eye. The mechanism of action is thought to be due to its unique gelling and lubricating system formulated to adjust to each users individual tear pH. When the ingredients combine with natural tears, a soft gel forms a network of protection over the eye surface. Since it promotes a healthy environment in eye surface, damaged surface cells of eye can rapair more easily.

Indication

Opcol Sterile Eye Drops is indicated for the temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of eye.

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) or as needed.

OR, AS DIRECTED BY PHYSICIAN.

Contraindication

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product.

Side effects

Generally well tolerated. Opcol should not be used if allergic condition occurs to any ingredients of this product.

Precaution

 Never touch tip of container with any surface to avoid contamination

 Replace cap after each use.

Supply

Each plastic dropper bottle contains 10 ml sterile eye drops.
