Overview
Levostar Syrup 100 ml contains Levosalbutamol 1 mg per 5 ml, a selective beta-2 adrenoceptor agonist bronchodilator manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals PLC. The syrup formulation is particularly suitable for children and patients who have difficulty swallowing tablets. Levosalbutamol is the pharmacologically active (R)-enantiomer of salbutamol and relaxes bronchial smooth muscle, relieving bronchospasm and improving airflow in obstructive airway disease.
Levostar Syrup is indicated for the treatment and prevention of bronchospasm in adults, adolescents, and children 6 years of age and older with reversible obstructive airway disease, including asthma.
Dosage and Administration
Adults: 5–10 ml (1–2 mg Levosalbutamol) three times daily.
Children (6–11 years): 5 ml (1 mg) three times daily.

Interaction
