Overview

Bisocam Tablet contains a fixed-dose combination of Bisoprolol Fumarate and Amlodipine Besilate, manufactured by Square Pharmaceuticals PLC. It is used to manage hypertension in patients requiring combined beta-blocker and calcium channel blocker therapy for adequate blood pressure control.

Dosage and Administration

Usually 1 tablet once daily in the morning, or as advised by the physician, depending on individual blood pressure response.

Interaction

Concomitant use with other antihypertensives, calcium channel blockers, or CYP3A4 inhibitors/inducers may alter blood pressure response and drug levels. Caution with digoxin and antidiabetic agents.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in cardiogenic shock, severe hypotension, severe bradycardia, AV block, acute heart failure, and known hypersensitivity to either component.

Peripheral edema, dizziness, fatigue, flushing, and bradycardia.
